We offer a fully bespoke design element, taking architectural drawings along with a customer’s design idea and developing a full system that works in tandem with the waterproofing element. Using CAD the design team produces full fabrication drawings including site plans to enable easy installation.

Our state-of-the-art machinery can transform virtually any design into a finished product using aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised or pre-coated steel.

We specialise in the bespoke metal fabrication of architectural elements… using a client’s idea as a starting point – we do the rest: design, technical drawings, fabrication, powder coating and can also arrange installation.

With over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, we understand the challenges of both new build and refurbishment work and can offer purpose-built solutions to most metal requirements for your project.

The emphasis is always on quality. Designs are created and then approved by the client, and samples produced, if required, to sign off before production commences. We are conscious of tight lead times and will always do our best to meet your schedule but equally important, will tell you if it is simply not possible.

This surface colour treatment based on a polyester resin cures at a high temperature and offers a super smooth surface - ideal for use on exterior applications.

Tough, flexible and firm and highly resistant to cracking, flaking and colour fade, we provide the very best in polyester powder coatings with a number of stringent measures in place to ensure exceptional quality control.

Modern machinery

Modern ITW Gema electrostatic coating equipment is used to give a quality finish. With the use of specialist machinery, ICB is able to apply polyester powder coating to metal sheets up to 3 metres in length, 1.5 metres wide and 400mm deep.

Quality control

Quality is of the utmost importance to us. The company’s in-house powder coating plant and pre-treatment facility produce components which comply with marine specification as standard. Coatings are applied in accordance with BS EN 12206- 1: 2004 (Paints and varnishes, coating of aluminium and aluminium alloys for architectural purposes) and every batch is rigorously checked to meet the relevant standards.

Coated metals are subjected to a rigorous multi-stage, pre-treatment process to guarantee powder adhesion and durability. Find out more about our 7 steps to quality here.

Undertaken by our fully experienced Regional Field Technicians using the latest surveying equipment, a survey from us ensures the highest degree of accuracy.

This is then passed on to the Fabrications Design Team who then completes the design process.
